The Women’s Pavilion at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital is conveniently located in downtown San Antonio. The facility was designed with a separate entrance and registration, providing easy access for patients, as well as, a full range of maternity services that include:

  • The Women’s Pavilion at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital offers 16 brand new LDR suites and 48 postpartum beds, with a 16-bed neonatal intensive care unit, dedicated to the birthing experience.
  • A Newborn Intensive Care Unit with 16 beds and a newborn specialist available 24-hours a day.
  • With the opening of the new pavilion, the number of newborn babies who can be cared for each month at the hospital will increase from 250 to 450.
  • Should the need arise to deliver your baby by cesarean section, Metropolitan Methodist Hospital has 3 Operating Rooms & 6 Recovery Rooms to handle your delivery in a safe and efficient manner.
